When diagnosed with colon cancer in 2010, David Buttaro, the Foundation's namesake, wanted to help those experiencing similar hardships he faced during treatments. Seeing firsthand the toll a cancer diagnosis can have on patients and their families, David decided to raise money in awareness of the disease and donated to such local charities as Stretch the Ride and Baseball-4-Life who help patients in the neighboring communities by hosting several golf outings.
David unfortunately passed away in 2013. In an effort to keep his vision and memory alive, his family created the David Buttaro Cancer Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) which will continue David's driven force to help those who need it most. 100% of proceeds are given away. If you or anyone you know is in need, please reach out to us!
